I am always impressed by what a great job the Renegade team does curating their shows. They really make sure to provide visitors with a great mix of artistic talent and handmade treasures. It was a great show and it was lovely to mingle with clients and other artists.
A big THANK YOU to all who came out to visit, shop, and support local artists.
If you missed the event, here are a few artists I think you should check out:
Rhyno ClayWorks - My booth partner! Ryan's ceramics are to die for, and he is such an awesome guy! I walked away with a vase/carafe and some other small goodies. Visit his etsy shop to view his work.
Meg A. Meyers Designs - Meg is a recycled glass artist and she makes beautiful jewelry boxes, terrariums, and home goods. Check out her goods in her etsy shop.
Flea Market Rx - Hilary makes awesome lamps and industrial inspired homegoods. Check them out here.
Peg and Awl - This husband and wife team creates cool curiosities and keepsakes from reclaimed items. I LOVE their handbags. Visit their website here.
Here is a quick sneak peek at some of the items I am working on for the Renegade LA show on July 20th and 21st
Can't wait to see you there! Visit Renegade's website for more details about the show.
One of my nearest and dearest friends tied the knot this weekend, and I had the honor of creating the perfect bracelet for her special day. Taylor's dress was off white and ethereal with some beaded leaf details on the bodice, so we decided to create a textured leaf cuff in a similar shape to match. I accented the cuff with moonstone and mother of pearl beading to add a little delicacy and to relate the color of her dress. She looked fantastic and the wedding was so much fun.
If you are interested in having a custom piece for your big day or any other special day, please visit the connect section of my site to contact me.
I also had the honor of being a bridesmaid. Taylor is a artist and shoe designer, so we bridesmaids had the pleasure of rocking a pair of her awesome heels. Check out Taylor's website here, for more info on her radical shoes.
